BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE CONTEST RULES
Wednesday, AUGUST 5th at 6:30PM
Agricultural Exhibition Hall
Eligibility:
- Open to children and youth ages 17 & Under
Entry Drop-off
- Entries must be delivered to the Agricultural Exhibition Hall between 5:30 p.m. & 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5th.
- No late entries will be accepted.
- Judging begins promptly at 6:30 p.m..
Entry Guidelines:
- This is a Best Chocolate Cookie Contest - any type of homemade chocolate chip cookie may be entered.
- Contestants may submit one entry only (one kind of cookie).
- Submit 6 cookies on a disposable plate or tray, securely covered with plastic wrap or placed in a sealed bag.
- All cookies must be homemade from scratch - no boxed mixes or store-bought doughs.
- A recipe card must be included with each entry. Recipes should clearly list all ingredients and be typed or neatly written.
- Entries must be labeled with:
- Name
- Age
- Name/Type of cookie
Judging Criteria:
- Taste
- Texture
- Appearance
- Creativity/ Originality
Prizes (Each Category):
1st Place - $50
2nd Place - $25
3rd Place - $15
